Curriculum

Wesleyan Academy is built on solidarity: the Word of God coupled with the A Beka Program of Excellence in Education from a Christian Perspective. Although A Beka is used throughout the school, it is supplemented with others such as Houghton Mifflin.

Courses offered are Bible, English (Literature, Vocabulary, Reading, Spelling, Phonics ), Penmanship, Science, Social Studies, Mathematics, Computer Technology, Foreign Languages, Music, Speech, Psychology, Economics, Penmanship, and Physical Education.

In addition to academics, we place very high values on:

  • love and respect for God and His Sanctuary
  • love and respect for others - teachers, parents, peers
  • self-esteem - love and respect for one's self
  • the development of good study habits
  • the need to strive for excellence at all times
  • the need to understand the importance of self-discipline
  • the development of good social habits

We hold these truths dear, and require all students of all grade levels to do so.
